Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an IT Auditor in East Haven, Connecticut. This role is critical for our continued compliance and operational excellence. As an IT Auditor, you will conduct comprehensive audits across our IT infrastructure, identify risks, and ensure the effectiveness of our controls. You will also collaborate closely with multiple product owners to perform periodic reviews and regularly update IT system workflows and compliance protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed IT audits to evaluate risk, compliance, and control effectiveness, focusing on long-term strategies.

• Collaborate with product owners across the company to conduct periodic reviews, ensuring their operations align with our IT governance, workflows, and compliance standards.

• Update and maintain IT system workflows and compliance protocols to reflect current practices, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements.

• Develop comprehensive audit reports for management, emphasizing findings, implications, and actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Ensure compliance with critical regulations and internal policies.

• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations, playing a vital role in enhancing our IT governance framework as we grow and evolve.

• Employ strong time management and multitasking skills to effectively engage with multiple stakeholders and manage diverse tasks in a dynamic environment.

• Experience with IT audit methodologies, frameworks (COBIT, ITIL), and public company regulations.

• Use strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills to ensure efficient and effective IT audit processes.

• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to various stakeholders within the company.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in IT auditing or a related field

• Proficiency in Audit Program, Business systems, CobiT, Audit Findings, Auditing, Compliance, and Documentation

• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification is required

• Experience with SOC or SOX Audits

• Demonstrated ability to identify and address audit issues

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proven ability to collaborate with a team and work independently

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with current IT trends and developments.
