Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Project Specialist-Process Sciences in East Greenbush, New York

Regeneron is currently looking for a Project Specialist to join our Process Sciences Project Management and Operations group. This position is responsible for managing timelines, facilitating/leading projects, and monitoring department operations. A necessary function of this position is to develop a company-wide and external network to leverage relationships that enable department objectives.

As a Project Specialist- Process Sciences, a typical day might include the following:

  • Leading/facilitating cross functional teams and managing the deliverables for assigned projects, which may vary widely but are generally focused on technical activities, department operations, or site-wide initiatives.

  • Developing and maintaining a technical understanding of all departmental operations.

  • Forming relationships, via strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, with Process Sciences management and team members, and the leadership and team members of other departments across all of Regeneron, its partners, and its suppliers. Leveraging these relationships to involve the correct subject matter experts (SMEs) and together achieve tasks as needed.

  • Developing tools and mechanisms for monitoring department operations, communicating clearly about department status and proactively work to anticipate and prevent problems.

  • Oversee implementation of processes to address recurring problems, overseeing implementation and ensuring continued operation of said processes.

  • Provide administrative, organizational, and mediation services for high-priority or emergency events as they arise – schedule meetings, take meeting notes, communicate findings/action items/plans, and ensure that actions are performed.

  • Managing critical recurring tasks related to manufacturing processes such as scheduling of key quality tests, allocating of lots of key raw materials, and other tasks as they arise.

  • Identifying opportunities for streamlined activities and improving performance within the broader business.

  • Are able to handle multiple projects and priorities with exceptional organizational and time management skills.

To be considered for the Project Specialist you must be willing and able to work Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. You must have the following; BA/BS in science, engineering or related field . For various levels you must have the following:

  • Project Specialist: 2+ years of relevant experience

  • Sr. Project Specialist: 5+ years of relevant experience

Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device or biotechnology industries strongly preferred. Experience in business development, management consulting, strategic consulting or project management is preferred. Level is determined based on qualifications relevant to the role.

Salary Range (annually)

$65,100.00 - $124,300.00
