Loan Center Representative

Role:

To administratively assist consumer loan applicants with their loan applications submitted online and by

telephone. Provide clerical and administrative support needed to process and close member loans via DocuSign.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of all loan applications, documentation and lien perfection. Assist applicants

with additional lending needs through member application interview process.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

E 60% Responsible for maintaining online and telephone loan applications including HELOC\'s, in an

accurate and timely manner. Contact applicants to compete loan applications, verify collateral

and prepare loan for review by credit analyst. Contacts member regarding decision and

arranges closing via DocuSign or branch to complete funding of loan.

Responsible for generating loan production by outbound calling efforts.

E 30% Identifies members need for ancillary products and payment protection. Identify cross sell

opportunities for additional loan products and services based on individual member needs.

N 10% Other duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements:

1. To provide prompt, accurate, courteous, friendly, timely and professional service to all applicants.

2.

Prepare files for underwriting. To produce loan documents, reports, and new accounts in a timely

fashion, with accuracy.

3. To maintain a working knowledge of the credit union\'s loan standards and governmental regulations.

4. To maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience One year to three years of similar or related experience.

Education A high school education or GED.

Interpersonal

Skills

Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the

purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation.

Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and

tact in communication.

Other Skills Must have good oral and written communication skills.

Proficient with Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Proficient with 10-key calculator, typewriter, and keyboard skills.
