Job Description Summary

This role will research, analyze, design and manage effective financial and retirement benefit plans and programs that support the Lamb Weston business strategy and are in alignment with its culture. This position leads the planning, developing, and designing of global company benefit programs, including financial services, retirement programs, e.g., 401k (two plans), Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation Plan (two plans), Non-Qualified Pension Plan (frozen), Qualified Pension Plan (frozen), Retiree Medical Plan (frozen) as well as time off and flexibility benefits. This position will interface with vendors and key clients internally and externally, create client deliverables, and ensure quality standards are met. This position also supports U.S. leave policies and practices.

Job Description

  • Leads the Financial, Retirement and Leave Policies ensuring alignment with Lamb Weston culture and strategy. Works with third-party benefit solution providers to deliver benefits that ensure Lamb Weston\'s competitive advantage.
  • Works closely with the Sr. Director Total Rewards to evaluate, review, and recommend selection of vendors, establish and monitor performance and metrics for vendors to deliver world class service and benefit programs.
  • Leads the development and delivery of materials for the Employee Benefits Investment Committee (EBIC) to ensure fiduciary obligations are met.
  • Analyzes, manages and ensures the timely and accurate remittance of employee and employer funds to the appropriate financial institutions.
  • Partners with Communications to develop periodic communications for employees regarding their financial and retirement benefits ensuring understanding of the costs and value of their plans.
  • Uses internal or external actuary and financial resources to ensure retirement plans are adhering to fiduciary requirements.
  • Partners with the HR Shared Services leadership to ensure delivery of programs is as designed and ensures an excellent experience for Lamb Weston team members.
  • Ensures company compliance with federal country and state laws governing specified benefit practices.
  • Assists in benefit cost reporting and analysis as required.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of financial and retirement benefits experience at a mid-size to large public company.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver within tight timelines, comfortable dealing with ambiguity, and ability to de-escalate issues leading to resolution.
  • Experience working with financial services partners and third party benefits administration providers.
  • Excell nt program and vendor management skills, leading large company-wide benefits programs.
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to draw meaningful conclusions and action plans based on quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Experience in retirement and leave benefit related laws and regulations, including but not limited to ERISA and Secure Act 2.0.
  • Ability to communicate (verbal & written) complex programs to current and potential program participants of all levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
