Job Description Summary

The Manager of Procurement, HR & Professional Services (Contracting), will be responsible for building & leading Procurement for \\$150 million in business expenditures including, but not limited to, Human Resources, Finance, & Supply-Chain.

This role will serve as a critical contributor to the Corporate Procurement team by establishing long & short-term objectives + category strategies aligned with the company\'s mission & strategic goals related to growth, cost savings, supply continuity & risk management. This role will contribute to a strategy for assigned categories & execute the full source to contract cycle while serving as a trusted partner/advisor to internal stakeholders.

In addition, the Manager will be tasked with acting as a change agent, advancing procurement capabilities & driving strategic sourcing from a company-wide perspective. The role is expected to improve procurement procedures and processes. The successful candidate will possess outstanding people skills & the ability to interface at all levels of the company.

Job Description

  • Own a \$150m \"book of business\" & align to company cost, quality, delivery & service requirements
  • Collaborating with executives/internal stakeholders to improve procurement strategies
  • Elevating Procurement\'s status as a trusted partner in Lamb Weston through customer centricity
  • Building appropriate Supplier Risk Management protocols with critical suppliers
  • Efficient communication of strategies, priorities, goals, challenges & results to executives + stakeholders
  • Leading complex sourcing efforts & negotiating with suppliers
  • Identifying opportunities to extract additional value/innovation from the supply base while considering performance management & risk management approaches.
  • Passionately supporting ESG outcomes for assigned categories
  • Consulting with Legal to enable negotiation of contracts in an efficient & effective manner
  • Contributing procurement performance & inflationary targets as part of annual planning cycle
  • Identify and implement cost savings and cost avoidance opportunities
  • Develop and implement contract strategies that support the enterprise - North America, EMEA (Europe), Asia/Pacific (China/Australia) and Latin America (Argentina)
  • Position will have direct reports

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

Education/ Certifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree required, Masters in business-related field preferred.

Skills and Experience:

  • 8+ years experience in procurement and contracting or equivalent industry/ subject matter experti e required.
  • Experience in the Food Manufacturing Industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated management capabilities, especially related to assigned categories, driving performance, leading change efforts, and producing sustainable results.
  • Experience in transformation and continuous improvement of procurement.
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP & related systems including, but not limited to S/4 Hana & SAP Ariba
  • Possess the ability & knowledge to negotiate, manage & enforce procurement agreements
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate productively with cross-functional, cross-geographical teams
  • Capability to operate in uncertain environments & deliver under pressure
  • Natural influencer & persuasive at all levels of the business
