Software Development Engineers are entry/mid-level professionals that design, build, develop and deploy software applications, tools, platforms and services that enable current and future needs of our customers. A Software Development Engineer may assist their colleagues and more junior Software Development Engineer team members by solving problems, providing technical guidance, training and mentoring others. Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, an innovative mindset, the ability to solve complex problems and deep technical ability in software development programming within an agile environment will be key for success. About the Role In this opportunity as Software Development Engineer, you will: Develop big data applications using cloud technologies Mining information from a vast verity of both structured and un-structured dataset. Work with the peers in an agile environments with 2-3 weeks iterations. work with the business in understanding the requirements Aid in design, pair programming. Be an active contributor. About You You're a fit for the role of Software Development Engineer if your background includes: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Experience with any Object Oriented languages: Java, Scala, Python. Experience in designing, developing, and deploying data processing applications and frameworks on cloud-based infrastructure (like AWS, Python) Experience in Software development practicessuch as version control via Git, CI/CD Good Communication and Problem solving skills. Agile development cadence. Have a passion for technology and cloud development. Nice to have skills AWS technologies: Lambda, EC2, API, RDS, Dynamo DB, Glue, S3, IAM, Step Functions, CloudWatch, SQS, SNS. What's in it For You?
