Job Description Director of Learning, Product Operations As Thomson Reuters continues to transform its business, it strives to focus and elevate our product portfolio and to continuously improve the customer experience. The newly established Product Operations team is focused on empowering product team members to develop and ship products at the highest standards via common training, tools and operational processes. This will result in products that align to the most important needs of its clients and are successful by both customer and business measures. We are seeking a Director of Learning for the Product Operations team to lead our curriculum development and learning strategy across our 2,500+ person product organization. The ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for the product discipline and can approach the role with an open mind to identify areas of need, and creative solutions to teach and measure impact. About the Role The Director of Learning will: Oversee all curriculum development required for product management training Oversee the iteration of our curriculum over time based on impact, feedback, and evolving trends in the industry Hire, train and manage our instructional designers and instructors in both full-time and part-time roles Lead instruction on strategic topics, workshops, and project-based experiential learning Keep up to date on relevant trends in the product management field Create a positive, professional and inclusive learning environment and culture for our employees Act as team liaison with other cross-company learning and development efforts About You 8 years of experience in Learning & Development with at least 3 years leading a team of trainers/instructional designers Exceptional and engaging presentation skills A love of product management and a passion for growing the careers of a diverse new generation of product management professionals Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Bachelor's degree or equivalent Experience teaching at General Assembly, Code Academy, Coursera or similar schools a plus What's in it For You?
