A Day in the Life
Are you ready to join the Neurovascular Business, one of the most exciting and dynamic medical device segments, with thousands of people suffering from stroke each year in Germany? Do you wish to make a profound impact by helping to save lives of so many within a major business for our organization with a double digit growing?
In the role, you will be committing to a strong portfolio and an exciting innovation pipeline, eventually reporting to the Senior Business Manager DACH. You possess a full Measles immunization as facility-based immunization is required for the role. Your home, within the German national territory, will be your primary work location, even though Medtronic facilities might be attended for meetings on an occasional basis.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Achieve and strive to exceed revenue, margin and profitability objectives, as well as delivering expected profit results by balancing revenue generation and expense management
Recruit, hire, train, develop and manage a national team. Actively coach direct reports to meet annual objectives through the development of competent business skills, product knowledge and market development in collaboration with cross functional departments on a national and European level
Lead regional development, manage strategies and activities and translate them into accurate monthly, quarterly and annual projections
Collaborate across key internal stakeholder groups to identify and address trends, support business goals and strategy. Work closely with Group Purchasing Organizations, Strategic Account and Enterprise Account Management local requirements, strategy and tactics are seamlessly integrated and drive business through synergy
Achieve customer satisfaction for products and services. Ensure all regulatory and product specific guidelines are met
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or similar work experience
Fluency in German and English
Minimum 5 -10 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in overachieving commercial targets
Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills, as well as excellent business acumen tied to effectively provide information to various stakeholders, with a sense of urgency and prioritization
In depth knowledge and experience within the German healthcare system with extensive expertise in building and developing high performance teams
Ability to travel across the region for customer engagement events and business meetings (>50%). Travel outside Germany on occasion (10%)
