Plans all investment, development and maintenance activities at the site related to facilities (buildings, grounds, site infrastructure, production infrastructure ...), melting tanks and pots, machinery, and equipment. Monitors cost estimates and development requests as well as projects for the construction of machinery and equipment. Prepares budget plan, plans all required capacities under consideration of external services. Agrees upon the planning with the Site Manager. Develops and implements a sustainable TPM program with focus on preventive maintenance, and emphasis on the improvement of the operational safety and process stability of (melting-) equipment and machinery. Does this under consideration of legal requirements, the required process capability, increase of equipment availability, increase of optimal use of life cycle of (melting) equipment and machines, optimization of operation processes under consideration of lean management criteria, reduction of breakdowns, proactive planning of costs, implementation of TPM key figures in cooperation with the Lean Manager. Develops in dialogue with Site Manager and the Lean Manager his/her organization under consideration of the applicable Lean Operations System. Project Engineering Ensures compliance to national and international laws, regulations, norms, stipulations, standards, etc. and ensures required documentation. Designs processes, machinery, and equipment in accordance with latest technological state of Know-how and technology, and under consideration of economic aspects. Leads projects and monitors, in close cooperation with the project coordinator, the adherence to project management guidelines within his/her area of responsibility. Maintenance Ensures sustainability of adherence to preventive and corrective maintenance measures. Ensures pro-active planning, cost monitoring and proper execution of maintenance measures, down times and revisions. Initiates and conducts quality controls and acceptance of repair measures. Prepares and optimizes maintenance plans with respect to safety, effectiveness, practicability and correctness. Coordinates and approves all internal and external services (maintenance technicians, suppliers, etc.) in the execution of maintenance measures. Develops a process concerning the procurement of standard spare parts and ensures its adherence. Facility Management & Infrastructure Ensures reliable and economical availability of site infrastructure  and production infrastructure. at the site. Based on a factory layout plan, manages the development of infrastructures and buildings. Monitors and reports energy consumption and measures to reduce expenditures at the site in cooperation with production units. Negotiates in cooperation with site management and purchasing the supply of energy to ensure efficient and economical utility supply from external services. Supervision: Leads, promotes, and motivates the employees within his/her area of responsibility, especially performance appraisal and goal setting agreement, successor and representative planning, personnel development and training measures. IMSU/ EHS: Ensures adherence to legal laws and internal regulations concerning IMSU/EHS in the BS. Develops improvement concepts and/or improves already existing directives in close corporation with Corporate IMSU/EHS and ensures implementation of those concepts in the area of responsibility.

Your Profile

Master Degree in Mechanical, Construction, Electrical or Industrial Engineering Several years (3 to 5 years) of occupational experience in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), design and construction of machinery and equipment, project management, managerial experience Ability to speak and understand the English language, preferred second language German or French, SAP EAM knowledge, Six Sigma Black or Green Belt, experience in equipment related IT (CNC, CAD/CAM, Digital Twin, ...) and Autom tion
