What You Will Do :
We are currently searching for dynamic and skilled Project Manager to lead the Collection of Alternative Methods for Regulatory Application (CAMERA) project within National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS). This role focuses on managing the development and implementation of a centralized database, and web-based user interface, that facilitates the adoption and standardization of validated/qualified New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) for regulatory use. Managing the CAMERA project covers initial planning and design through to
implementation and evaluation, managing a multidisciplinary team, and engaging with diverse stakeholders to ensure CAMERA's development aligns with both domestic and global regulatory needs. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Durham, NC.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation library using designated applications and tools.
Coordinate, track and complete action items and report progress to project owners.
Prepare progress reports, summaries, descriptions, and other materials to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Recommend and support routine project management meetings, updates and prepare a variety of status reports and dashboards.
Conduct project-related activities, including developing needed materials, PowerPoint presentations, arranging discussions, and facilitating interactions.
Establish project metrics to measure and evaluate project cost and performance.
Coordinate and conduct internal management studies and provide trend analyses to project owners.
Provide researchers and non-project staff presentations on appropriate project management practices.
What You Will Need :
Bachelor’s Degree
At least four (4) years of project management related experience.
What Would Be Nice To Have :
PhD degree preferred.
Preferred areas of study/ background biology, environmental science, or community and public health
In vitro method validation
Data analysis
Knowledge of regulatory policy
Project and website content management
Meeting coordination, generating minutes/summary reports
Calendaring
User interface design
Presentation and communication
