Insight Global Material Planner in Durham, North Carolina

Job Description

A pharmaceutical manufacturing client of Insight Global is seeking highly-motivated and organized individual to help build and grow our materials management organization. The incumbent will lead the execution of the planning and procurement of materials required for manufacturing activities. Additionally, this materials planner will work to arrange the transfer of product to and from other facilities within supply chain.

Responsibilities:

Monitor inventory levels for consumables used in manufacturing and commercial processes.

Own the planning and timing of placing material purchase requisitions to support

Manufacturing and Quality Control activities.

Serve as primary point of contact for vendor engagement for the RTP site for the execution of purchase orders.

Support the design and development of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation for

warehouse and inventory management.

Support the establishment of the Bill of Materials, direct material vendor selection, and

consumable design processes.

Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality Control to understand short-term and long-term demand.

Collaborate with the Warehouse team to maintain appropriate inventory levels.

Work closely with Manufacturing and Quality to continually improve all aspects of operations.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business, STEM, or related field

Highly proficient within Excel (VLOOKUP, logic functions, inventory, etc.) 1+ years of related experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment

Experience with SAP null
