BioFire Diagnostics, LLC. Film Array Services Sales Representative in Durham, North Carolina

Primary Duties:

  • Drive new business revenue by successfully converting contract expirations into sold extended warranty agreements.

  • Maintain existing customer business to minimize lost service agreement business.

  • Articulate service contract value proposition to customers.

  • Manage pipeline in CRM to ensure timing of closes matches Monthly Forecast & Quarterly Business Plan.

  • Works collaboratively with sales, support, marketing and customers to ensure attainment of customer satisfaction.

  • Administer warranty contract quotes, purchase orders and invoicing.

  • Quote warranty contract offerings to customers.

  • Submits invoices and purchase orders to Customer Service and Finance.

  • Assists customer and internal team with resolving warranty contract billing disputes.

  • Maintain database of current customer instruments/contracts to determine systems with expiring warranty coverage in need of contracts and/or contract renewals.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Skills & Experience

  • HS diploma or equivalent is required, A bachelor’s degree in science or business-related field preferred.

  • N o experience required; however, related experience in a sales/lead generating role is strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with all bioMerieux products is preferred

  • Working knowledge of SAP and Salesforce.com preferred

  • Good problem solving, conflict resolution and decision-making abilities

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Exceptional customer interaction skills

  • Exceptional organizational skills; detail-oriented

  • Mature and pleasant telephone demeanor

  • Strong basic office and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills

  • Strong interpersonal skillsGood negotiation skills

  • Math and basic finance skills

  • Self-starter and ability to work with little supervision

  • Knowledge of service offerings and sales processes preferred
