Job Title: Electrical Design EngineerJob Description

The Controls Design Engineer II provides the electrical/controls design on product improvements for electrical/controls infrastructure of our manufactured product lines as well as coordinate site-wide drawings as applicable per site/project. These design activities are to provide assurance that our equipment/sites/projects are being built and/or applied per engineering documents, manufacturing and other required standards, such as UL and NEC. The main goal is the safety, quality, functionality, and conformity of our products. This position’s work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.

Hard Skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Durham, North Carolina and some days remote.

Work Environment

Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 from home). This role requires interface with production as builds are in progress to ensure projects are on time and with quality. The rest of the time will be spent in an office setting / behind a CAD screen.
