Robert Half Client Financial Associate in Durham, North Carolina

Description

We are seeking a Client Financial Associate in Durham, North Carolina, United States. This role essentially involves financial analysis, reporting, and customer service within the healthcare industry. The position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Process and analyze various client transactions.

• Handle inquiries regarding claim administration and medical coverage.

• Assist in the development, analysis, and interpretation of financial claims, expense, and stop loss coverage information.

• Support the preparation of financial forecasts and reports for various audiences, such as Self-Funded Groups, Employer Stop Loss Vendors, Sales, Underwriting, etc.

• Conduct variance analysis at employer group level or consolidated company level.

• Prepare and reconcile Statement of Account, assist with the monthly run out and final close out activities.

• Handle the preparation of invoicing and financial claims expense forecasts.

• Support the review of expenditures of employer groups' subgroups to ensure conformance to Administrative Agreement.

• Assist with compilation of data for internal/external audits.

• Perform ad hoc financial analysis as required.

• Ensure customer satisfaction by conducting quality reviews of operational inquiries.

Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Service and Sales

• Experience with Documentation and Reporting tasks

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to carry out Planning and Invoicing tasks

• Experience in Reviewing financial documents and delivering Presentations

• Strong knowledge of Finance principles

• Experience in Workstation Support

• Familiarity with External Audit procedures

• Understanding of Medical Coverage and Benefit Functions

• Experience with Hiring Processes and dealing with Vendors

• Ability to Perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks

• Experience in Claim Administration and Account Reconciliation

• Proven track record of achieving Customer Satisfaction

• Proficiency in Verification processes and making Adjustments

• Familiarity with HealthCare.gov

• Experience in Variance Analysis and Cost Analysis

• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse clients and stakeholders

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
