Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Gaming & Hospitality Staffing Coordinator Recruiting in Durant, Oklahoma
Job Purpose or Objective(s): Provides administrative support to recruiters and the recruitment process. Promote the Choctaw Nation’s mission by placing workforce talent. You will report to the Employment Manager.
Start Rate: $23.35 p/h | Monday - Friday | 8:00AM - 4:30PM
Primary Tasks:
You will conduct job scoping of openings by identifying recruiting requirements with hiring managers.
Conduct pre-qualification of applicants for available positions through a variety of means such as phone interviews, personal interviews, reasonable research and system verification.
Forward applicant information to appropriate managers.
Post requested positions according to established posting and new hire policy.
You will collaborate and consult with management and external departments on the correct procedure, policy, and compliance with the posting and hiring process and guide them through the process to completion of the application process.
May arrange management interviews by coordinating interview schedules; evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers.
Provide applicants with information about new and ongoing postings and on the application process.
Enhance the Choctaw Preferred Employer of Choice brand by capitalizing on opportunities to improve the processes and automation of the current application tracking technology.
Implement company values and policies.
Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Proficiency with Excel; PowerPoint and Outlook
Collaborate with external customers providing a standard of service corresponding with Administration’s expectation.
Ability to manage confidential information without compromise.
Experience in staffing preferred.
