Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Casino Groundskeeper in Durant, Oklahoma
Job Purpose or Objective(s): As the Groundskeeper, you will maintain the external appearance of the casino and related facilities. You will report to the Grounds Maintenance Supervisor.
Start Rate: $15.50 per hour | Full time
Primary Tasks:
You will receive and put away Maintenance or Housekeeping supplies as they arrive and maintain a clean work area.
Move or lift objects as needed to facilitate cleaning and maintenance.
Utilize hand tools, leaf blowers, push brooms, and other related equipment to perform your duties.
Pick up trash, sweep, empty trash cans, and complete routine tasks to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities.
You will maintain grounds at Choctaw Casino and Resort, RV Park, Event Center, Uniform building, and Career Center.
Provide jump packs, air compressors, or hydraulic jacks to guests as needed.
Maintain fleet side-by-sides and perform pre-inspections prior to use.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Mechanically inclined to use different technical/mechanical requirements of the job
Proficient in the operation and use of different equipment particularly, side-by-sides and leaf blowers.
Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations they undergo related to this field (includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods)
Read and follow written or oral directions for tasks
Understand government public health regulations
Understand safety standards related to performance of the job
Lift/move objects up to 100 lbs.
