JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for overseeing Deposit Collections, Dormant DDA accounts, ACH Origination Payments, ODP Excessive Letters, Stop Payment Return Verification, as well as learning to back up and be a floater for all other team members in the department.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\ Responsible for managing collections regarding deposits, oil and gas drafts or leases and fraud suspect items. Upon receipt of these items responsible to process for collection from other institutions. Upon payment, credit or debit customers account and retain a log of collection transactions.\ Responsible for managing Dormant account Letters, verify true dormant accounts and mail notices\ Responsible for verifying ODP letters to be mailed and maintenance ODP accounts.\ Responsible for verifying the correct item is being returned for Stop Payment.\ Responsible for managing ACH/EFT Origination Payments, Input payment into AS/400 for processing and process returns as needed.\ Verify Wire Transfer and ACH transactions going to TIB as needed.\ Provide support and back up to other team members, including filling in during their absences as needed.\ Must be able to meet attendance and punctuality standards\ Effectively work and cooperate with supervisors, co-workers and customers\ Follow the directions of supervisor

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:\ Perform other duties and projects as required by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:\ High School Diploma or equivalent\ Bookkeeping/clerical experience (including filing, letter writing, etc.)\ Proficient computer,10-Key and typing skills\ Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality.\ Dependable, trustworthy and willing to work as a member of a team while producing thorough and accurate work.\ Ability to provide exceptional customer service.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:\ Strong verbal and written communication skills.\ Ability to follow written and oral instruction\ Ability to use 10-key adding machine by touch.\ Strong proficiency in PC applications, including MS Word and Excel, AS400, Windows XP.\ Strong verbal and written communication skills.\ Strong interpersonal skills; able to work well with a wide range of people including all levels of management.\ Strong organizational and time management skills.\ Demonstrate dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules.\ Strong follow through on projects and deliverables.\ Strong analytical skills.\ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to logically reason through situations.\ Demonstrate resourcefulness and ability to take initiative in development and completion of projects.\ Strong sense of customer service.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\ This work is primarily sedentary and requires the following physical activities:\ Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.\ Frequent lifting (up to 25 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment).

WORKING CONDITIONS:\ Normal office environment.
