This is a Full Time position. WHAT YOU'LL DO: * Provide direct patient care in the acute care departments. * Communicate with physicians, nurses and other staff about patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology. * Have the ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient’s condition. * Additionally, is cross trained to perform general nursing duties in other departments and may be asked to do any reasonable job duty within scope of practice. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Six months nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred. LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: * Current Texas RN license or RN Compact licensure and current CPR certification required. * ALCS Certification required or must be obtained within first year of employment. * Departmental requirements are as follows: Med/Surg/ICU - PALS required or obtained within first year. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of applicable regulatory and/or accreditation standards.
