AFSCME Job Code 1858 Rate of Pay: \$20.00 - \$24.77 per hour About the Job: This position supports the Financial Manager at the UMD Stores. Duties are primarily in the areas of accounts payable, Buyer/Supplier inquiries, P-Card payments, and supplier setup. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable - 70% * Process invoices and credit memos * Invoice matching * Enter data into MBS system * Delivery t Controller\'s office for imaging Invoice and Disbursement Inquiries - 20% * Research and resolve Buyer and Supplier inquiries * Partner with Disbursement Services and the UMD Controller\'s Office to resolve any payables issues. * Maintain files in UMD Stores\' Accounts Receivable department Other Financial Support - 10%: * Monthly Payment Card (P-Card) processing * Supplier setup * Any other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * Experience using various software solutions (e.g., MS-Excel, email, etc.). * Exceptional attention to detail. * Excellent interpersonal skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Growth mindset Physical/Other Requirements * Work varied hours/days as business dictates Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED plus two (2) years general accounts transaction experience. Training/education may be substituted for some of the years of experience. Computer experience required. Specific knowledge/skills may be required.
