Apply for Job Job ID363824 LocationDuluth Job FamilyResearch-Researchers Full/Part TimeFull-Time Regular/TemporaryRegular Job Code9742R7 Employee ClassAcad Prof and Admin Add to Favorite Jobs Email this Job About the Job Duties/Responsibilities 75%: Research and coordination Management of project timelines and deliverables for large scale multi-site projects, along with multiple smaller related research projects Act as project leader in collaboration with the principal investigator(s) Oversee and manage research data collection, analysis and dissemination Oversee the development of appropriate tools and training materials related to dementia and brain health Develop research articles, manuscripts and reports Supervise research staff Serve as PI on mission focused grants 25%: Community Engagement Lead Oversee MK MDT community engagement, outreach, and training for Indigenous and rural communities Work with staff to prepare and deliver presentations, trainings, reports, and materials for various audiences, including academic and community partners, and the public. Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and events locally, nationally, and internationally. Supervise and mentor project staff and community-based researchers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Required Qualifications Advanced degree with substantial research and publication record Preferred Qualifications PhD in American Indian Studies, Social Sciences, or Health Sciences. Minimum 10 years of experience in a research role Experience implementing large scale and muti-site research projects with Indigenous and rural communities Knowledge and understanding of dementia and chronic diseases impacting brain health Project management skills Experience with community engagement and outreach, including developing new research partnerships.
