Duties are primarily in the areas of accounts payable, Buyer/Supplier inquiries, P-Card payments, and supplier setup. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable - 70% Process invoices and credit memos Invoice matching Enter data into MBS system Delivery t Controller's office for imaging Invoice and Disbursement Inquiries - 20% Research and resolve Buyer and Supplier inquiries Partner with Disbursement Services and the UMD Controller's Office to resolve any payables issues. Maintain files in UMD Stores' Accounts Receivable department Other Financial Support - 10%: Monthly Payment Card (P-Card) processing Supplier setup Any other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Experience using various software solutions (e.g., MS-Excel, email, etc.). Exceptional attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Growth mindset Physical/Other Requirements Work varied hours/days as business dictates Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED plus two (2) years general accounts transaction experience. Training/education may be substituted for some of the years of experience. Computer experience required. Specific knowledge/skills may be required.
