An NBC Commercial Banker is responsible for originating, managing, and supervising a portfolio of commercial customers. They are expected to obtain and develop new business loan and deposit account relationships, as well as expand relationships with existing customers. The position of Commercial Banker consists of both administrative duties and the collection of commercial loans. This individual is required to perform, and/or supervise, the completion of all the duties associated with the granting of credit. This includes loan follow up and monitoring, loan servicing, and file management. In addition, the Commercial Banker is responsible for analyzing the risk associated with their individual portfolio and maintaining quality assets.
