Electrical Technician II

Department: Panel Shop

Location: Duluth, GA

About the role:

WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for an Electrical Technician II to join our team in Duluth, GA. This role wires electrical industrial control panels.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Wires electrical controls panels following layout, work instructions, and appropriate standards.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics to properly wire control panels.

  • Ability to assist line specialist with training of new employees.

  • Ability to work independently with very little direction from Line Specialist or Supervisor.

  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.

Knowledge / training:

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics required.

  • Use power tools required.

  • Use basic hand tools (Screwdriver, wire strippers, socket sets) required.

  • Knowledge of company quality standards and procedures, including safety required.

  • Knowledge of wiring required.

Experience:

  • 1+ year of wiring experience.

  • 3+ years of related experience preferred.
