Actalent Services is hiring an Electrical Design Engineer

for a Consulting Engineering Firm with over 25 years of Dedicated Service to the Southeast

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer/Engineer. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, with a strong background in low voltage power distribution and lighting design.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design components with a multi-disciplinary team

• Work daily within AutoCAD and Revit

• Design power distribution and lighting for low-voltage systems

• Develop specialized systems including emergency generators, site lighting, fire alarms, nurse call, A/V, and security

• Ensure compliance with NEC and other applicable codes

• Design for healthcare/medical and commercial projects from inception

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Electrical Design for low-voltage power distribution and lighting

• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD

• Familiarity with specialized systems design

• Electrical Engineering Degree

Additional Qualifications

• PE license not required

• Experience with NEC and other applicable codes

• Background in designing healthcare/medical and commercial projects

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
