Actalent Electrical Design Engineer in Duluth, Georgia
Actalent Services is hiring an Electrical Design Engineer
for a Consulting Engineering Firm with over 25 years of Dedicated Service to the Southeast
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer/Engineer. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, with a strong background in low voltage power distribution and lighting design.
Responsibilities
Coordinate design components with a multi-disciplinary team
Work daily within AutoCAD and Revit
Design power distribution and lighting for low-voltage systems
Develop specialized systems including emergency generators, site lighting, fire alarms, nurse call, A/V, and security
Ensure compliance with NEC and other applicable codes
Design for healthcare/medical and commercial projects from inception
Essential Skills
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Electrical Design for low-voltage power distribution and lighting
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
Familiarity with specialized systems design
Electrical Engineering Degree
Additional Qualifications
PE license not required
Experience with NEC and other applicable codes
Background in designing healthcare/medical and commercial projects
Work Environment Highlights
Hybrid Schedule
2 days in the office, 3 days working from home
Monday required in-office, second day flexible
Working Hours
8:30 am to 4 pm for client calls and duties

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
