As a Financial Analyst - Level 2, or Principal Financial Analyst - Level 3 located in Dulles, VA you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.
The Financial Analyst (FA) will interface with the program managers, cost account managers (CAMs) and business managers to provide financial support and analysis to meet program requirements.
This position can be filled at either a Level 2 or 3.
Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept:
Assist in management of program financials, including: financial and cost forecasting, funding profiles, reporting and variance analysis
Setting up cost control accounts and incorporate changes into the cost management system to maintain cost and schedule baselines
Possess the ability to prepare and provide weekly/monthly analytical reports to support cost variance/trend analysis
Assist in preparing monthly Earned Value metrics for internal/external meetings
Develop and review estimates at Complete (EACs)
Assisting in preparing for internal and external audits

Basic Qualifications:
Level 2 - Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree
Level 3 - Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of professional experience
Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
Experience with MS Office including Excel (with Macros, Pivot tables and VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint
Requires an active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance at time of application

Salary Range: $73,900 - $110,900
Salary Range 2: $91,200 - $136,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
