The Research and Development Engineer is responsible for component- and system tests of water analysis devices within the R&D Team. Your duties and responsibilities include the investigation of analytical methods. This includes hardware, software, chemistry and application tests of the device. With your recorded results and reports in hand, you also contribute to the continuous improvement of our devices and test methods and will be located in Duesseldorf
In this role, a typical day will look like:
You work directly with a team of highly experienced technical experts in multiple roles and technologies,
You develop verification and validation plans and reports
You specify test procedures, measurements and evaluation criteria and optimize them in coordination with the development team
You evaluate data using statistical methods and present the results within the project team
You coordinate independently with other specialist departments in the event of deviations
The essential requirements of the job include:
Experienced in a similar position within a product development or R&D environment
You are accurate, well organized and eager to learn
German (minimum C1) and English language skills expected
You are creative problem solver and have the ability to work both independently and in a team
Master degree in engineering sciences (enviromental, chemistry, physics, process or similar) is desirable
Knowledge of water analysis methods preferable (e.g. Titration / UV-VIS spectrophotometry / electrochemistry) is desirable

Der Verifikationsingenieur ist innerhalb des F&E-Teams für Komponenten- und Systemtests von Wasseranalysegeräten zuständig. Zu Ihren Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten gehört die Untersuchung von Analysemethoden. Dazu gehören Hardware-, Software-, Chemie- und Anwendungstests des Geräts. Mit Ihren aufgezeichneten Ergebnissen und Berichten tragen Sie auch zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung unserer Geräte und Testmethoden bei. Sie arbeiten in Düsseldorf.
In dieser Funktion sieht ein typischer Tag wie folgt aus:
Sie arbeiten direkt mit einem Team von sehr erfahrenen technischen Experten in verschiedenen Rollen und Technologien zusammen,
Sie entwickeln Verifikations- und Validierungspläne und Berichte
Sie spezifizieren Testverfahren, Messungen und Bewertungskriterien und optimieren diese in Abstimmung mit dem Entwicklungsteam
Sie planen, steuern und führen manuelle und automatisierte Tests durch
Sie werten Daten mit statistischen Methoden aus und präsentieren die Ergebnisse im Projektteam
Sie stimmen sich bei Testabweichungen selbstständig mit anderen Fachabteilungen ab
Zu den wesentlichen Anforderungen der Stelle gehören:
Abgeschlossenes Studium der Ingenieurwissenschaften (Umwelt, Chemie, Physik, Verfahrenstechnik o.ä.)
Kenntnisse in der Wasseranalytik wünschenswert (z.B. Titration / UV-VIS-Spektrophotometrie / Elektrochemie)
Vorzugsweise 3-5 Jahre Erfahrung in einer ähnlichen Position
Sie sind genau, gut organisiert und lernwillig- Fließende deutsche (mindestens C1) und englische Sprachkenntnisse werden erwartet.
Sie sind ein kreativer Problemlöser und haben die Fähigkeit, sowohl selbständig als auch im Team zu arbeiten
