As a journeyman roofer, you will be responsible for properly removing, repairing, and installing roofing systems.

Currently, most job sites are in Duchesne, UT, but there will also be jobs in many other areas in and surrounding the Uintah Basin.

Responsibilities:

• Meet project deadlines
• Remove old roofing systems
• Remove and clear the job site of any debris by putting debris in dumpsters or other designated areas
• Prepare roofs for the application of new roofing systems
• Repair, replace, and install roofing systems on residential homes and commercial buildings
• Utilize hand tools and a variety of power tools
• Maintenance of tools and equipment before and after each shift
• Ability to read and understand instructions
• Measure and cut materials ensuring that materials are cut and trimmed to exact measurements
• Assist with restocking roofing materials
• Ensure the job site is completely cleaned up at the finish of the job

Requirements:

• Profound knowledge of roofing -- A minimum of 4 years of prior experience is required
• Accurately take measurements
• Able to perform physical labor for long periods
• Able to lift 50 pounds and climb up and down ladders to various heights regularly
• Follow OSHA regulations
• Possess good communication skills
• Follow instructions from foremen and supervisors
• Looking for hard-working, honest, and reliable journeymen roofers who work well in a team
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
• Must be 18 years of age or over to apply for the job
• Must have reliable daily transportation to and from work
