DuBois Granite and Quartz LLC Stone Fabricator in DuBois, Pennsylvania
DuBois Granite and Quartz is looking for a Stone Fabricator who can convert a 50 square-foot stone slab into a beautifully finished product. This is an opportunity for individuals who dislike being tied to a desk but want to be part of a professional, fast-paced team while enjoying evenings and weekends off. If you have the starting skill set we are willing to train.
Responsibilities:
- Using of forklift, pallet jack, and other material handling equipment along with hand tools
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Read and understand fabrication drawings

``` - Work to proper safety standards - Must pay attention to detail and be able to take direction - Must be professional and flexible - Assist with product installation at customer locations - Carry and move stone efficiently without damage to stone or customer surroundings - Layout and complete various types of edges and cutouts - Hone and refinish polished surfaces on marble and granite - Cut or shape stone according to drawings and/or templates - Work in an efficient manner maintaining high quality
Hours: This is a full-time position. The fabrication shop hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30. Installation crews will travel throughout Western Pennsylvania so the length of the workday will be determined by the location of the installation site.
Required Skills: The successful candidate should be interested in operating machinery and producing beautiful, quality products. This job is both physically demanding and intellectually stimulating. The candidate will work closely with other team members whose cooperation and physical safety are paramount.
- Candidates must be over 18 years of age and able to work 40 hours a week
- Individuals must be able to lift at least 80-pounds waist-high
- Have a valid driver's license

Compensation: Compensation will be based on previous work experience. All full-time employees will receive six paid holidays and 13 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO). DuBois Granite will provide the appropriate safety equipment and clothing.
Reporting: Polisher/Installer will report directly to the Fabrication Shop Manager.
