HM Team Description:

Azure Active Directory (AAD) and the Azure cloud are the backbone of the world’s enterprise computing infrastructure, hosting 95% of the Fortune 500 along with critical applications like governments, healthcare, education, and more. The criticality and breadth of our customer workloads means outages and security incidents are simply not an option. Building and running secure and resilient authentication systems at massive scale requires strong collaboration and technical skills. We are engineers, technology leaders and experts, digital transformation change agents, and customer advocates. The Identity Public Key Infrastructure team (PKI) is seeking and experienced and passionate software engineer to join us as we create and deliver mission-critical features and services and to enable AAD and Azure to meet customer needs. Working with a creative and diverse team, you will collaborate to design, build, deploy, and run highly available and scalable services to meet customer needs in a competitive landscape. You will be responsible for hiring and growing the best engineers in the world while forming some of the best service teams at Microsoft and delivering world-class scale, availability, and security.

Responsibilities

We are looking for passionate people with experiences working with all service aspects of high throughput and multi-tenant services, ability to design components carefully, properly handle errors, write clean and well-factored code with good tests and good maintainability.  

Responsibilities include:

• Design and develop large scale distributed software services and solutions

• Develop “best-in-class” engineering for our services by ensuring that the services and the components are well-defined and modularized, secure, reliable, diagnosable, actively monitored and reusable.

• Consider testability, portability/monitoring, reliability, and maintainability, and understand when code is ready to be shared and delivered.

• Focus on customer/partner needs through a data driven approach.

• Troubleshoot and optimize automation, reliability, and monitoring for LiveSite

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.

· 4+yrs. of experience with shipping and operating services at scale

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
