Microsoft Corporation Senior Digital Sales Manager (Digital Account Executive Team) Swiss market in Dublin, Ireland

The Account Team Unit in the Small, Medium & Corporate Segment manages relationships with our top Corporate Customers, showcasing the unique capabilities of the Microsoft Cloud to solve business challenges and boost productivity.

As the Manager of our Swiss Corporate Account Team, you will lead, mentor, and support a team of talented sellers across various industries and regions. You will act as trusted advisor for your key Partners and Customers.

In this function you will play a key role in leveraging AI for the digital transformation of our Swiss "Mittelstand" Customers.

Responsibilities

  • You oversee and direct actions across multiple complex sales territories/accounts, and manage planning and prioritization efforts across territories. You direct and hold virtual teams accountable to lead execution and customer escalations.

  • You hold partners accountable to contribute to territory plan. You coach teams to identify contacts in new accounts and building customer engagement.

  • You lead teams in prioritizing and managing renewal process, including creatively addresses renewal options with internal partners and customers to maximize business outcomes. You resolve escalations as needed. You understand risks and opportunities for growth. You drive team to deliver on growth targets and on-time renewals.

  • You lead the rhythm of the business and you secure a high quality sales process and pipeline management. You coach teams to ensure that activities are in place to drive consumption.

  • You proactively expand strategic network of key internal and external partners. You position yourself as a thought leader and trusted advisor to executive-level business decision makers at our key partners and you actively promote and orchestrate an alignment between your team and the sellers at our partners.

  • You proactively cultivate trusting and influential relationships with customers/partners and direct sales teams to use sales strategies with decision makers at high levels of the customer's organization. You coach teams to identify contacts in new accounts, building customer engagement and you provide coaching and guidance on importance of driving value for customers.

  • People Management:

  • You direct and execute talent acquisition, recruiting, succession planning, and change management. You leverage a strong knowledge of product landscape, solutions, and strategy to address customers' needs.

  • You deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND demonstrated experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing and/or driving business growth or customer digital transformation, sales management, or leadership

  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or technology related field AND demonstrated experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing and/or driving business growth or customer digital transformation, sales management, or leadership

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Several years of direct/formal or indirect/informal people management experience is required.

  • Experience in leading a digital team cross region.

  • Experience in selling through and with partners.

  • Good understanding of the Microsoft Solution Portfolio

  • Languages: English, German-strongly preferred, French-optional.
