Why this job matters

As the Digital Procurement Manger, you will be at the forefront of delivering world class procurement digital transformation. You will work as part of the digital garage team identifying and piloting new technology in procurement. Working closely with our category teams, you will help identify opportunities for procurement technology to add value. You will have a love of keeping up with the pace of procurement technology advancement and help identify established and early-stage start-ups.

What you’ll be doing

• Become a recognised expert in the procurement technology landscape: identify opportunities with existing and start-up players that meets our business problems.

• Identify and maintain relationships with digital procurement companies.

• Pilot procurement technology based on agreed use cases and measure success

• Maintain expertise around industry leading procurement technology.

• Identify opportunities for digitisation of the procurement processes.

• Ability to manage BT’s complex, strategic and commercial characteristics in line with external and internal requirements.

The skills you'll need

• You have a digital first mindset and passion for procurement technology.

• Ideally experience in a role with responsibility to create a new digital procurement ecosystem.

• Excellent communication skills, with a high-level of attention to detail.

• Good planning and organisation skills.

• Strong ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
