Amazon Account Manager, Public Sector, AGS-EMEA-Field-Ireland Sales in Dublin, Ireland

Description

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

The Public Sector team is looking for an Account Manager to help public sector customers deliver services to citizens in the Republic of Ireland. If you like to innovate, collaborate and invent with customers we’d like to meet you.

Your work will help to grow and shape the future of emerging technology and increase awareness of AWS in public sector and semi-state organisations in Ireland.

Key job responsibilities

• You will grow and expand business by developing a territory plan

• You’ll manage key strategic accounts concurrently and long-term

• Articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services

• Work with partners to extend reach & support adoption

• You’ll think strategically about business, product and technical issues

Basic Qualifications

•Technology related sales, business development, or sales engineering/consulting experience

• University degree or equivalent experience required.

• Strong written communications and presentation skills, with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT managers, and developers

• Experience in a customer-facing, sales-aligned role such as consultant, solutions/sales engineer or solutions architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• A background working in a regulated industry (such as financial services, healthcare, defence, or other public sector bodies)

• SaaS/Cloud experience
