GENERAL PURPOSE:

The LP Technology Manager is responsible for planning, aligning, and executing the LP technology roadmap including the testing of new or replacement devices or the development of new capabilities and uses of existing technology. This role will build the bridge between the operational teams and the technical teams to build efficiencies for the internal customers. This role will be responsible for leading proof-of-concept initiatives.

The base salary range for this role is $90,300 - $136,350. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Build and foster effective working relationships with internal customers, LP executive leadership and cross functional partners.

• Gain a deep understanding of internal customer opportunities, needs, and pain points; working closely with leadership of those teams to help build the LP Technology roadmap and drive business impact.

• Plan, align, and prioritize the initiatives on the roadmap.

• Certify technology replacement equipment and/or identify alternatives as assigned to meet department objectives.

• Ensure fiscal responsibility by meeting all budget forecasts and understanding drivers for changes in costs.

• Develop, maintain, and execute ownership of assigned projects from concept to completion.

• Create documents to present to leadership to gain support and funding for ideas and projects.

• Regularly stay up to date on new and core capabilities in the state of LP Technology through trade shows, industry associations, and partner events. Understand competitive advantages in this space.

• Partner with key manufacturers and vendors to unlock new capabilities for the business, through configuration of existing tools and identification and testing of new tools.

• Assign and oversee workload for assigned LP Technology Onshore and Offshore Contractors.

• Responsible for continuous collaboration and communication with internal and external business partners and teams (i.e., Store Operations, Loss Prevention, Security Operations, IT, Executive Leadership, Business Intelligence, Finance, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree in business or technology or equivalent work experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail, technology, or related field, including experience in product or project management

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred

• Proven ability to develop and implement effective technology programs, processes, and procedures in a large-scale organization

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build alignment among multiple groups and key stakeholders across the business

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and multitask assignments effectively

• Willingness to take initiative and follow through on projects while working independently and proactively with minimal supervision

• Strong business acumen and customer service focus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment

• Experience with Computer Vision, IP Cameras, Electronic Access Control, Physical Intrusion Prevention, and/or Genetec Security Center preferred but not required

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:

Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.

Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.

Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.

Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.

Up to 10%-15% travel. Will require occasional driving and/or traveling overnight for business functions or site visits.

This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.#LI-Hybrid
