Description:

You will be responsible to provide an excellent and consistent level of service to your customers. The Technician is responsible to assist in the smooth and efficient running of the Engineering Department in support of all other operating departments.

· To fully understand the principles of Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and apply them in practice.

· To regularly inspect air conditioning compressor units and effect maintenance and repairs as necessary.

· To maintain charging equipment, refrigeration test equipment and A/C tools in good condition.

· To ensure cleanliness of work areas and protection of the surrounding area when executing jobs.

· To understand control principles of all A/C systems and regularly test, repair and calibrate.

· To verify building area temperatures and adjust as necessary and record on the plant log sheet.

· To complete major and minor services on A/C, Refrigeration equipment as assigned and return the completed job sheets to the Engineering Office.

· To learn and carry out fire brigade duties when assigned.

· To complete the personal daily job record, time book accurately and keep ready for inspection.

· To fully comprehend the building automation system operation, alarm and functionality.

· To trouble shoot & repair A/C systems when necessary.

· To participate in new equipment installation projects.

· To cross train in the fields of plumbing and plant mechanics.

· To response immediately to guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction
