We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Marketing Manager to lead and execute cross-border commerce marketing initiatives. This role will be pivotal in driving growth, enhancing brand presence, and optimizing marketing strategies for Amazon’s cross border business in MENA.

The ideal candidate has a broad skill set including product marketing, along with priority management, stakeholder management, content testing, and a passion for creating a world class shopping experience for our customers. You will work with business teams of all sizes and must have the ownership presence and communication skills to represent your respective businesses when it comes to customer understanding.

Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and execute marketing strategies that enhance brand presence and drive cross-border commerce growth. Formulate data-driven plans to increase internal and external traffic, optimize conversion rates, and maximize sales across key categories.

Customer Insights & Strategy: Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to gain deep customer insights, improve brand relevance, and boost customer acquisition and loyalty. Integrate findings into actionable marketing strategies.

Business Development: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within cross-border markets. Develop strategic partnerships and collaborations to expand market reach and drive business growth.

Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of marketing campaigns and initiatives, from planning and execution to analysis and optimization. Ensure that all activities align with overall business goals and deliver measurable results.

Event Management: Plan and execute high-impact marketing events and campaigns, including product launches, promotions, and trade shows. Manage logistics, coordination, and post-event analysis to ensure successful outcomes.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver integrated marketing campaigns. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution of marketing initiatives.

Content Development & Optimization: Oversee the creation and optimization of marketing content, ensuring it aligns with customer needs and business objectives. Manage content testing and implement improvements based on performance metrics.

Innovation & Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvements within marketing operations. Drive initiatives that streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.

Operational Excellence: Manage and take ownership of all operational aspects related to marketing tools and campaigns. Ensure systematic updates, gather feedback, and resolve issues promptly to maintain marketing effectiveness.

Communication & Stakeholder Management: Exhibit strong ownership and communication skills, representing marketing interests effectively across various teams and geographies. Ensure clear and consistent messaging to support business objectives.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • MBA

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis

  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
