Hyatt Junior Sous Chef - Pastry in DUBAI, United Arab Emirates

Description:

  • Assist in the preparation and execution of all pastry items, including desserts, cakes, pastries, and breads.

  • Support the Pastry Sous Chef in menu development and recipe creation.

  • Oversee the daily operations of the pastry section, ensuring high-quality standards.

  • Supervise and train junior pastry staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and procedures.

  • Ensure proper presentation and plating of all pastry items.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry area, adhering to health and safety standards.

  • Monitor inventory and assist in ordering ingredients as needed.

  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or Junior Sous Chef Pastry in a professional kitchen or luxury hotels.

  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert presentation.

  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Passion for creating innovative and high-quality pastries.
