About the Role

The MEO Content Lead at LexisNexis is responsible for developing the yearly practical guidance publication plan, building relationships with authors, and ensuring the relevance of covered subjects by attending events. They will manage the supply of case decisions, commission commentaries, and oversee the case hubs project in collaboration with universities. Additionally, they will create a publication plan for Arabic content, propose new editorial policies, and support LexisNexis Rule of Law projects. The ideal candidate should have excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

· Conduct research and propose yearly publication plans, coordinating with the ED/Ops PG team.

· Compile a list of courts and open data sources for cases across the region.

· Plan, monitor, and execute the case decisions sourcing strategy.

· Source content online and through contacts at courts, law firms, and entities.

· Document and maintain metadata for cases to provide links on MEO.

· Edit and summarize cases using the available template and train external service providers.

· Identify and manage relationships with potential authors and contributors, including contract and budget management.

· Propose new case decision expansions to address market needs.

· Manage content uploads based on commissioned content.

· Coordinate with content and sales teams to develop case decision summaries.

· Monitor court and case decision developments to ensure content accuracy.

· Assist in planning and executing annotated codes, including research, summarization, coordination, editing, and finalization.

· Lead print publications, coordinating with designers, typesetting, and printing in Arabic.

· Support editorial requirements as needed, including drafting new stories and consolidating content.

Qualifications

· 5 to 7 years of experience in a legal or editorial role.

· Law degree from a recognized university.

· Proficiency in Arabic and English.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Experience in digital publishing is a plus.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and independently as well as part of a team.

· Legal knowledge, editorial skills, and analytical capacity.
