DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Account Management Specialist to join our team specializing in Sales for our Power Generation Sales – AME Department in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Building Strong Customer Relationships: You’ll support the account team in developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long-term loyalty.

  • Organizing Customer Visits and Negotiations: By assisting in the organization of customer visits and negotiations, you’ll help create opportunities for meaningful interactions and successful deals.

  • Identifying Customer Needs: Your role in identifying and understanding customer needs will be crucial in tailoring solutions that align with their expectations and requirements.

  • Curating and Organizing Data: You’ll help curate and organize data and information that will assist customers in evaluating the benefits of Cummins’ products and services, aiding in informed decision-making.

  • Supporting Contract Negotiations: Providing information to the account team to support the negotiation and implementation of contracts will ensure smooth and beneficial agreements for both parties.

  • Coordinating Communication: You’ll help coordinate communication and interfaces with customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned and informed.

  • Championing the Voice of the Customer: Acting as a champion for the voice of the customer, you’ll advocate for their needs and feedback within the business, driving improvements and customer satisfaction.

  • Driving Revenue Growth: By identifying new business opportunities and participating in cost reduction initiatives, you’ll contribute to revenue growth and the overall success of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Strong Relationship-Building Skills: You’ll need to effectively develop and maintain relationships with key accounts in the G-Drive, Gas, and Defence sectors, as well as support distributors in Africa and the Middle East.

  • Analytical and Reporting Skills: The ability to analyze data, generate reports, and support the account team with valuable insights will be crucial for informed decision-making and strategic planning.

  • Sales Pipeline and Forecasting Expertise: Proficiency in managing the sales pipeline, evaluating its health, and adjusting strategies accordingly, along with accurate sales forecasting based on customer data, will be essential for achieving sales objectives.

  • Effective Communication and Adaptability: You’ll need to explain complex topics in a way that is understandable to various audiences, ensuring that both internal teams and customers can retain and use the information effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/ Experience:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in marketing, sales or a related subject or an acceptable combination of education and experience required.

  • Basic relevant work experience required. Customer-facing experience preferred.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
