Job Description:

YOUR TASKS :

  • Computer-aided preparation, dimensioning, calculation, analysis, evaluation and verification of the static and dynamic strengths of components, assemblies and complex structures, taking into account the requirements in terms of cost,

  • weight, functionality, installation conditions and deadlines

  • Preparation of documents for the qualification of materials, superstructures, structures as well as for the approval and definition of tests, test methods and devices

  • Manufacturing support with regard to the effects of defects, repairs, etc. on the

  • Structural analysis including processing of construction deviations and complaint reports

  • Definition and advice on the selection of aerospace materials to be used in accordance with the determined or specified load and application spectrum and taking into account fatigue and service life criteria

  • technical coordination and negotiation with partners, subcontractors, manufacturers, customers and internal Departments

  • Consultation of the development engineers with regard to the constructive implementation of static and dynamic requirements as well as service life for the development of effective structures

  • Collaboration in the preparation of quotations, specifications, cost and schedule calculations on request

YOUR PROFILE :

  • Completed 4-year university education in mechanical engineering in the fields of aerospace engineering/general mechanical engineering/design/lightweight construction

  • Qualification according to QSA 21-004

  • professional experience in the development, design, calculation, qualification and verification of aircraft interior and structure components and their integration into the aerospace system

  • very good knowledge of MS-Office applications, calculation software (NASTRAN/PATRAN, ISSY/ASSACOS), Windchill

  • very good knowledge of AC documentation

  • confident spoken and written English language skills

  • knowledge of aerospace typical calculation procedures and principles

  • knowledge of aviation-specific standards, materials, standard parts as well as aerospace drawing systems and design and qualification principles

  • Knowledge of aviation law (aviation law development - basics)

  • Knowledge of the processes and responsibilities in aerospace development operations

  • Ability to work in a team, flexibility, commitment, conscientiousness, diligence
