The Role & Team:

The Channel Sales Specialist Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies to enable and empower our sellers to effectively sell and support our products and services via the channel. This role involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, product teams, operations, and channel teams to ensure alignment to maximize channel partner success. This role will be responsible for the direct management and growth of several existing partners.

Your day-to-day

  • Develop and implement enablement strategies for both channel and sales

  • Collaborate with sales enablement, channel programs, and channel management to create training programs and materials

  • Work closely with channel partners and channel management to identify their needs and provide tailored support

  • Monitor and analyze channel performance metrics to identify areas for improvement to existing programs and sales approach

  • Work closely with sales leadership to ensure alignment in development and execution of channel sales

  • Develop and deliver presentations and workshops to educate partners on new products, services, and market trend

  • Develop and deliver presentations and workshops to educate our sellers on channel strategy and execution

  • Identify and codify best practices

  • Maintain product expertise and awareness of the competitive landscape

  • Directly manage 2-3 partners driving business in a specific product set

  • Fully support partner sales from deal registration to order entry

  • Drive a proactive stance for customer acquisition and management

What you bring to the team

  • Strong cross-functional leadership and excellent communications skills to drive consensus across those groups internally and within the partner organizations

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Sales forecasting and reporting background

  • Analytical mindset with experience in performance metrics analysis

  • Using the results of that analysis to develop and implement solutions

  • Prefer candidates based in Sunnyvale, CA, Draper, UT or Pittsburg, PA.
