You are responsible for

  • Electrical and mechanical assembly and test of engineering prototypes.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and make technical contribution on methods.

  • Creating engineering prototypes per drawing, sketch or instructions.

  • Construct and document fixtures, experiments or prototype systems with engineering supervision.

  • Perform engineering tests and make observations and make recommendations to engineers. (DOE)

  • Support Product Research Center (PRC) and clinical studies.

  • Collect, organize and/or analyze experimental data. Write technical reports.

  • Maintain lab equipment and prototype component inventory.

  • Electrical and mechanical assembly and test of engineering prototypes. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and make technical contribution on methods.

You are a part of

As a T&V Test Engineer, you will be a part of the core team of a new product development project. Throughout the project, you will fre‐ quently interact with the Project Manager, Marketing Manager, and Product Researcher, as well as a variety of technical subject matter ex‐ perts both locally and internationally.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • MBO niveau 4 (electronic technical) or equivalent + 5 years’ experience

  • Good electrical, mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills.

  • Strong understanding of fundamental engineering and physical principles.

  • Demonstrated initiative in identifying and resolving problems

  • Electronic assembly and test of engineering prototypes. Must be competent with the following: Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Power Supplies, Signal Generators, Soldering (thru-hole and surface mount), Reading and understanding schematics.

  • Mechanical assembly and test of engineering prototypes. Familiarity with: Measurement tools (calipers, dial gauges), Mechanical assembly methods and tools, Reading and understanding CAD drawings and bill-of-materials (BOM).

  • Maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment as needed. Familiarity with pneumatics (actuators, valves) and electric motors (low voltage, DC, H-Bridge) a plus.

  • Build, test, and document product samples for clinical studies.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and collect, organize and/or analyze experimental data and write technical reports.

  • Perform engineering tests and make observations and recommendations to product development engineers.

  • Experience with the following is preferred: LabVIEW, General 2D or 3D CAD knowledge (AutoCAD, etc.), Familiarity with general microprocessor hardware programming (ARM, Cypress, Microchip, etc.), Bluetooth Low Energy testing (Rhode & Schwartz CMW270 or similar).
