Dontech is an AS9100D and ISO-9001:2015 certified designer and manufacturer of optical filters, laminations and thin and thick film coatings for the precision optics, display, and touchscreen markets. We design, manufacture, and integrate custom components that enhance the performance of optical systems.

Summary:  Effectively lead, manage, grow and direct/coordinate all Dontech Sales activities in a professional, cost effective and profitable manner through the leadership and management of support of all Sales personnel including but not limited to: Strategic Accounts Sales Director, Key Account Sales Managers (KASMs), New Business Sales Manager, Customer Support Manager (Including Inside Sales Managers (ISMs), and Sales Administrators) and through direct customer interaction and support. Maintain a strong relationship and overall customer knowledge with all key accounts and new business targets.  Assist with Dontech's overall Sales, Business Development, and Marketing activities. Maintain a clear vision of the markets Dontech serves, the products and services offered to those markets, and the most effective and profitable methods of taking these products and services to market. Lead and manage overall Sales efforts by ensuring the department is appropriately trained, and work is prioritized to ensure strong relationships and continued growth of business with Key and Strategic Accounts, effective onboarding of new accounts to effectively support the company's booking, revenue, and profitability goals. Develop a comprehensive plan with appropriate metrics and KPIs, in concert with the Dontech Strategic Plan and high-level OKRs, for improving profitability and growth of the organization. Engage all members of Sales team in continual improvement mindset and culture of communication and teamwork, both within Sales and with all other Dontech departments.

Metrics:  The Director of Sales and Business Development will be evaluated and measured upon the ability to meet and exceed the following metrics: Improve and increase Dontech sales volume, market share, and market volume relative to annual sales goals, total addressable market, and competitive displacement.  Meet and exceed Sales goals as outlined in Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Sales goals and objectives. Improve Dontech's overall annu l sales revenue and profit. Maintain Dontech and customer generated monthly scorecards and profiles for top accounts and targets. Effectively populate and use the Sales CRM for the sharing and organization of customer information.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in business or engineering (degree may be substituted with high technical aptitude and 10 years of technical sales experience preferably in the optical/display or EMI shielding market). Scientific background, preferably in chemistry, chemical engineering, optical engineering, or physics is desirable. Experience in the Defense / Aerospace industries preferred. 10+ years of proven experience in the management of sales accounts, including account planning. Sales experience with LCD display, EMI shielding, or optical based products preferred. 10+ years of successful inside and field sales experience, with a strong phone and email presence. International sales experience preferred. Active member in job related societies (e.g., SID, SPIE) preferred. Maintenance of professional and technical knowledge as evidenced by attendance at educational workshops and reviewing professional and company industry related publications. Proven track record of Sales management and technical sales, ideally including Regional Territories and Manufacturers' Representatives organizations. Citizenship requirements in compliance with ITAR (US Citizen, US National, lawful US Permanent Resident, or lawful refugee or asylee of the US)
