General Job Summary: 530PM-530AM, 4 days one week, 3 days the next, As a Supervisor in the Plant Services department, you will be responsible for the overall efficiency and quality of cleaning that your crew(s) brings to the plant, by providing leadership, technical support, and guidance to your employees. This position must ensure that proper training is being administered to employees within their department, using Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs), and that the training is well documented. The Plant Services Supervisor will coordinate, and hold employees accountable to, all responsibilities for their department which includes Safety, Quality/Food Safety, Training, Engagement, Performance, etc. This position will report to the Plant Services Manager, whom the Supervisor will work with to drive improvement in their department by; improving/refining Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, identifying poor sanitary-design equipment and developing action plans, reviewing data collected from ATP swabbing to improve cleaning performance, etc. As Supervisor, you will be in the key role of aligning your team(s) with the strategies and objectives of senior management, while providing useful feedback and suggestions to the management team to maximize potential.

Principal Accountabilities: 70% - 1. Delegate tasks to machine cleaners using the Master Sanitation Schedule, monitor the tasks as they are being completed, and verify satisfactory completion of the tasks before documenting the completion, as required, in the Master Sanitation Schedule and Daily Task Sheet. 2. Complete required daily paperwork, and receive signatures from employees, before end of shift. Some examples of this required paperwork include Daily Task Sheets, ATP Swab Sheets, CIP Cleaning Logs, etc. 3. Schedule/carry out training to employees on cleaning equipment using Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures. Document that training has been completed to the SSOP by completing a training record. 4. Drive accountability within the Sanitation department by coaching employees on policies and procedures. When required, documentation must be completed when employees fail to adhere to policies and/or procedures. This includes items such as time management, quality of work/performance, attendance, etc. 30% - 1. Complete 30/60/90 reviews for new employees and conduct one-on-one sit downs with the new employees to discuss their strengths, weaknesses and how/what they need to improve to retain employment (when required). 2. Enter Work Orders/Work Requests into SAP for damaged/malfunctioning equipment or maintenance teardowns required for sanitation to complete thorough cleaning on equipment. Provide Work Order/Request numbers to Plant Services Manager and provide communication to the Plant Services Manager and maintenance department when work is or will be completed to prevent down time. 3. Management of department's timecards, scheduling and PTO. Timecards mus be checked for accuracy and corrected when needed, before being approved weekly. The Supervisor will also be responsible for scheduling employees as needed for startups or other tasks that fall outside the standard work schedule. PTO requests from machine cleaners must be approved/denied based on plant needs and by policy.

Job Complexity: o Help troubleshoot malfunctions/inefficiencies in cleaning processes, such as CIP systems. o Provide solutions to management on obstacles within the plant that are preventing a more efficient and/or higher quality of cleanliness, such as outdated practices or poor sanitary design of equipment. o Perform disciplinary actions when required to drive accountability within the department. o Help develop sanitation strategies unique to a frozen food environment to improve and/or maintain food safety and quality standards. o Lead DDS (Daily Direction Setting) meetings with department and prepare department for high performance organization implementation. o Facilitate the implementation of CAPA for non-conformances and root cause evaluation from internal and external audits, regulatory audits, environmental monitoring, and cleaning validation methods such as ATP and allergen validation. o Assist QA and Plant Services Manager in targeting root causes of EMP findings and performing corrective actions on findings. o Serves as HACCP Steering Team member and fulfills duties as assigned by the Plant Quality Manager, who is the Steering Team Leader. o Assist Plant Services Manager in developing, implementing, and standardizing Master Sanitation Schedule and SSOPs. Drive continuous improvement and provide recommendations for new technology and methods to improve cleaning practices. Monitor performance of the established tasks and troubleshoot Sanitation and Quality issues.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: o Knowledge and understanding of Master Sanitation practices, cleaning practices, cleaning chemicals, CIP systems and sanitary designs. o Must interface with all departmental management, as well as Corporate Food Safety and Sanitation personnel. o Knowledge and general understanding of applicable regulatory standards (FDA, SQF) o Strong people supervisory skills, interpersonal skills and leadership abilities o Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail o Computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Software. Ability to learn new software such as SAP, Workday and other job-related software is required. o Flexibility to adjust working days and hours as required to provide direct supervision of department. o Working knowledge of all personnel and food safety policies/requirements. o Practical knowledge and application of food safety principles (Regulatory, HACCP, GMPs, SQF, AIB, Food Microbiology)

Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED required 2+ years of leadership experience within manufacturing or warehouse industry Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree and/or certification in Sanitation related field. 3+ years of leadership within food manufacturing Supervisor or Managerial experience HACCP certified

Compensation and Benefits:

The base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between$66,550.00 - $107,140.00

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
