Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist

Job Description

This position is for a CNC Lathe Machinist in a job shop environment where candidates will most of the time receive blueprints or engineering drawings for machining parts for conveyor systems.

The role includes troubleshooting responsibilities due to the custom nature of the equipment and the unpredictability of the jobs.

The position requires working independently, as no other machinists are on staff, and organizing priorities effectively.

The equipment used is a Haas ST-28 CNC Lathe machine.

Hard Skills

• At least 5 years experience CNC Lathe Machining

• Reading and interpreting blueprints

• Setting up and editing CNC Lathe programs

• Utilizing fabrication tools

Work Environment

Medium sized fabrication and welding production shop with 20-25 employees on the shop floor, equipped with overhead cranes and other industrial equipment.
