Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician for a full-time day shift position (Mon-Fri) in Dover, OH. The role involves industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting for systems ranging from 12v-480v and 3 phase.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting from 12v-480v and 3 phase.

• Troubleshoot plant electrical systems including circuits, motors, breakers, lighting, control boxes/panels, machine controls, sensors, switches, and photo eyes.

• Assist with special installations and projects.

• Work on various equipment and machinery such as heat exchangers, pumps, mixers, boiler/steam systems, material handlers, filtration systems, storage tanks, and more.

• Understand and interpret schematics and blueprints.

• Perform point-to-point wiring and diagnosis.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial/manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency in industrial electrical maintenance, both preventative and corrective.

• Experience with motors, sensors, switches, photo eyes, circuits, breakers, panels, and variable drives.

• Ability to understand and work with schematics and blueprints.

• Familiarity with 12v-480v electric systems and 3 phase.

• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Electrical automation skills, including experience with automation, instrumentation, and robotics.

• Experience with pneumatics and pumps.

• Previous experience in chemical manufacturing is a plus.

• Knowledge of Siemens control, Fanuc control, PLC troubleshooting, and wiring.

• Ability to perform emergency/unscheduled repairs promptly.

• Competence in reading equipment manuals to ensure proper operation and repair of equipment.

Work Environment

This position is within an industrial chemical manufacturing environment and involves working both indoors and outdoors as needed. The role is unionized and includes rotating on-call shifts for 11 consecutive days when necessary. You will be part of a great team of 16 in the maintenance department, supported by an engineering team. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $64480.00 - $72800.00
