Now actively hiring for Industrial Mechanics and Industrial Electricians for a large aerospace manufacturing company located in Dover, NJ. Pay:
Electricians: 36.75/hr.
Mechanics: 34.75/hr
Shift: training will be on first shift for the first couple months
2nd - Monday-Friday - 2:00pm-10:30pm or 2:30pm-11:00pm
3rd - Sunday-Thursday - 10:00pm-6:30am or 10:30pm-7:00am
Location: Dover, NJ
Sign on bonuses: after 90 days of work
Electricians: $5,000 sign on bonus after 90 days.
Mechanics: $2,500 sign on bonus after 90 days.
Job Description:
Perform electrical repairs and preventative maintenance on site equipment and electrical systems. This includes troubleshooting and repairing electrical failures, installing electrical systems, and assisting in training less experienced personnel.
Responsibilities:
Electricians:
Locate and repair electrical failures and malfunctions on equipment such as heaters, elements, fuses, lights, contacts, etc.
Repair and install electrical systems and equipment such as motors, transformers, wiring, alarm systems, automatic control systems, etc., and rebuild motors including bearings and armatures.
Understand and apply schematics and electrical blueprints in the troubleshooting of electrical systems, programmable controllers and associated systems.
Assist in the training of less experienced electrical personnel.
Perform all new electrical installations working from schematics and/or blueprints.
Properly complete and adhere to all safety procedures and training classes.
Perform all duties of an 'A' Electrician when necessary.
Maintain frequent internal contact with manufacturing and external contact with contractors and suppliers.
Mechanics:
• Installs piping and mechanical equipment as directed.
• Able to trouble shoot and repair all routine mechanical failures or malfunctions and acquire some knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Assists in construction and/or repair of all plant equipment.
• Keeps records as required.
• Must be able to perform the duties of a B Maintenance Mechanic
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervision.
• Maintain all assigned work areas in as clean, orderly and safe condition as circumstances permit.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
US citizenship to meet Export Control Regulations
Minimum of 6 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment in an Electrician role
PLC experience
Ability to interpret blueprints
Strong communication skills to explain programs and tasks to operators

The pay range for this position is $73840.00 - $73840.00/yr.
