Summary:
Responsible for assisting in food preparation, serving, and kitchen clean-up.
Responsibilities:
• Documents and completes End of Shift lists daily. • Documents and completes Weekend Cleaning list. • Reads Communication Board Daily while at work. • Delivers trays to patients and helps them open milk and set up if indicated. • Introduce yourself when entering patient room. • Washes hands appropriately and frequently. • Delivers and returns patient food carts. • Maintains orderly flow of cafeteria when serving. • Washes dishes, glasses and silverware and then rewash when indicated. • Prepares food items such as salads and milkshakes. • Recycles for hospital savings.
