What You Will Do :
Guidehouse is shaping Zero Strategies across multiple federal clients. Our efforts look holistically at the impacts of Zero Trust spanning the Zero Trust pillars, as well as cultural, programmatic, and technical areas. We are currently seeking a Zero Trust Network Engineer to deploy, configure, and assess our customers current posture, establishing roadmaps, working with vendors on technical solutions and providing thought leadership across our segment
The successful candidate will analyze and upgrade current network architecture and support security integration. Specific duties will include:
Analyze the client’s current network architecture
Develop future-state network architecture and technical documentation
Perform deployment and configuration of zero trust broker tools for access to the internet and private applications
Support the integration of the zero-trust broker tools with other security tools, including identity management, SIEM, and EDR tools
Perform ongoing operations and maintenance of the zero-trust broker tools, including providing patching and end-user support
Perform research and lead proof of concept efforts to determine where additional technologies may be necessary
Provide advisory support to client leadership on responses to new network requirements and regulatory mandates (such as executive orders, emergency directives, binding operational directives, and data calls from governance and oversight bodies
What You Will Need :
An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance
At least 7 years Technical/Arch/Networking Engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree
Experience providing technical support for network architecture, design, engineering, and maintenance.
Experience with Trusted Internet Connection (TIC) 3.0 guidelines.
One relevant network security or cybersecurity certification, such as Forrester Zero Trust Strategy, CISSP, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills that include the ability to describe highly technical concepts in non-technical terms
What Would Be Nice To Have :
An Active and Current Top Secret federal clearance with SCI eligibility
Technical Certifications
Experience with Okta, Crowdstrike, SailPoint, Azure, AWS, Zscaler, Palo Alto, and other Zero Trust enabling technology and cloud providers.
Experience supported large federal organizations
The annual salary range for this position is $77,500.00-$155,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
