Description

Our client, a respected firm within the healthcare sector is seeking a Senior Accountant with industry experience to join their team. Daily tasks involve cash reconciliation, general ledger maintenance, and a variety of other responsibilities that uphold our financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

General Ledger Maintenance:

• Assist with the review of AP posting batches

• Maintain Balance Sheet Account workpapers monthly

• Provide financial-related assistance services and GL support to various department managers

• Maintain Fixed Asset system

• Assist with monthly accruals

Cash Reconciliation:

• Process daily cash collections/receipts

• Categorize check payments by type

• Manage GL postings of all daily receipts

• Prepare daily cash and check bank deposit

Other:

• Analyze account activity on company/Condo Trust records

• Assist in the compilation of annual operating and capital budgets

• Conduct financial analysis for various projects

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• BS Degree in Accounting with 5+ years’ experience in accounting

• Experience in healthcare or not for profit accounting preferred

• Proficiency in Excel, Dynamic SL GL Package, and Management Reporter

• Knowledge of ADP payroll preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
