Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practice; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; promoting a customer environment ; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning.

Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent.

Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the Open Door Policy.

Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives; engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives; and supporting associate efforts in these areas.

Oversees the development and execution of best-in-class sourcing models for quality and innovation by collaborating with key stakeholders. Evaluates gap analysis of sourcing models and oversees the development of solutions to address gaps. Conducts capacity planning for suppliers and product activities through direct import sourcing path. Develops and executes changes and improvements in category sourcing methodologies. Ensures the alignment of commodities, end products, and suppliers across operations.

Oversees the implementation of sourcing methodologies used for sourcing categories, as well as risk mitigation strategies, by creating responsible, transparent, and product-focused supply chain models. Leverages global purchase volumes to drive manufacturing efficiencies and reduce costs. Fosters a responsive, accurate, and efficient operating mindset. Enhances and offers alternative, corrective solutions for operational processes and compliance. Leads continuous process and quality improvement.

Oversees suppliers and global account executives by ensuring supplier performance, on-time delivery, and productivity. Mitigates risks. Creates key strategic and sustainable partnerships. Communicates inventory demand to maximize manufacturing efficiencies. Provides strategic and technical recommendations through analyses of total costs.

Directs long-term and multi-product sourcing strategies by overseeing long-term, multi-country needs for specific products. Oversees production opportunities and the development of action plans. Oversees the direction of multi-country, multi-product annual plans, as well as quantity needs, quality needs, and cost needs. Oversees multi-country, multi-product supply needs across a diverse supply base.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in business or related area and 7 years' experience in supply chain, transportation, logistics, or related area. Option 2: 9 years' experience in supply chain, transportation, logistics, or related area.

3 years' supervisory experience.
